November Residency at Bowling Green

Bill is delighted to announce his residency this November as a guest of the Hansen Musical Arts Series, College of Musical Arts, Bowling Green University.

Bill’s time at Bowling Green promises to be full of activities, including:

  • Individual sessions with student composers on works read by the Toledo Symphony
  • Trombone Master Class
  • Coaching with Graduate String Quartet
  • Interview with Brad Cresswell with WGTE
  • Conducting Bowling Green Philharmonia and working with student conductors
  • Conducting BGSU Wind Symphony and working with student conductors
  • Visiting composition classes
  • Sitting in on jam session with Faculty Jazz Group
  • Attending Jazz Lab Band Concert with Karrin Allyson, jazz vocals.

And as if that weren’t enough, there are two public events scheduled during this residency:

  • An Evening with Bill McGlaughlin – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, November 7, 2012
  • Question and Answer Session – 2:30 pm Friday, November 9 for music students
