Bill is delighted to announce his residency this November as a guest of the Hansen Musical Arts Series, College of Musical Arts, Bowling Green University.
Bill’s time at Bowling Green promises to be full of activities, including:
- Individual sessions with student composers on works read by the Toledo Symphony
- Trombone Master Class
- Coaching with Graduate String Quartet
- Interview with Brad Cresswell with WGTE
- Conducting Bowling Green Philharmonia and working with student conductors
- Conducting BGSU Wind Symphony and working with student conductors
- Visiting composition classes
- Sitting in on jam session with Faculty Jazz Group
- Attending Jazz Lab Band Concert with Karrin Allyson, jazz vocals.
And as if that weren’t enough, there are two public events scheduled during this residency:
- An Evening with Bill McGlaughlin – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, November 7, 2012
- Question and Answer Session – 2:30 pm Friday, November 9 for music students
